
Job Responsibilities:
- Technical support for procurement of combined cycle power plant accessory systems like HRSG, Aux Boiler, Fuel gas treatment system, compressors, pumps (BFP, CEP, CWP and other miscellaneous pumps) etc., including preparation of Technical Specifications, Evaluation of Bids etc.
- Technical support for procurement of Gas Turbine accessory equipment like Inlet filter, Exhaust duct, GT enclosures, Lube oil mist eliminator, Vapour extractor, bypass damper, CO2 FF system for GT enclosures etc.,.
- Reading client's specification and preparation of deviation/clarification documents & negotiations with client and/or client's consultants. Assistance for proposal documents preparation.
- Sizing & Design Calculations for GT Auxiliaries and BOP equipment like Fuel Gas Compressor, Control Oil System, Fuel Gas Filtration Unit, BFP, CEP, etc.
- Preparation of HAZOP, FMEA study reports, System descriptions etc.
- Communicating and negotiating with Client/consortium partners and Sub-Contractor & preparation of necessary documentation with full understanding of contract specification, deviations & clarifications.
- Negotiating scope, Quality, Design conditions and other technical terms with the sub-vendors.
- Vendor drawings / documents review, approval and management of vendor's engineering deliverables until completion of contract.
- Control of vendor's engineering schedules.
- Coordination between vendors.
- Prepare and arrange the Deviation Requests and getting approval from Client.
- Prepare and arrange the document/material to be submitted to Local Regulation/Authorities.
- Interaction with Client and other design teams for technical issues & interfaces
Qualification:
- Full time Bachelors/Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institutes with good academic records.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Power projects with minimum size of 100MW preferred. Candidates with more experience would be considered for Lead Engineer and/or Managerial Position.
Desirable:
- Exposure to Combined cycle power plant systems, HBDs, P&IDs for Gas Turbine cycle and Bottoming cycle.
- Exposure to International projects
- Knowledge on relevant international codes and standards.
- Experience in EPC companies.
